Students experience a range of customized career focused activities.

These activities include co-operative education placements, job shadowing, and job tours with local community partners. Students are potting native plants at Sassfras Farms greenhouse in Thorold.

Students have the opportunity to explore, identify and refine career goals and make informed decisions about post-secondary education.

The students to the right are visiting the University of Guelph. Below students are visiting Niagara College and Sault College.

Thoughout the SHSM program students are able to improve their work habits, gain confidence in their ability to succeed, and see connections between their studies, the world beyond high school and their future careers.
